NEC SHOW ORDERS OF NEW LUNARS UP BY 21% COMPARED TO 2014 EVENT SPECIAL EDITION LUNAR COSMOS ACCOUNTS FOR OVER 50% OF SALES Campbells Caravans is celebrating an upturn in sales at last week?s Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show, at the NEC Birmingham. The Preston based family run dealership, which has just appointed Mike Barnes and Daniel Campbells as Directors, secured 21% more orders for new Lunar caravans than taken at the 2014 event. This comes on the back of a successful sales performance at The Caravan & Motorhome Show at EventCity, Manchester, where Lunar orders were up by 20% on the previous year. Says Director, Mike Barnes, ?This upturn in sales is welcomed and reflects the quality of the new Lunar product as well as some strategic changes made in the business over the last six months. We?ve invested in a new customer website and a new show stand that better communicates our professionalism and the quality of our caravan and accessory product range. ?We know customers are looking for value for money, so we?ve considered how we can offer even more, both at shows and back at our dealership in Preston. The new Cosmos range, our Lunar special edition, provides £1,500 of extra spec for less than a quarter of the cost ? deals like this helped achieve sales as over 50% of the orders taken at the NEC were for the Cosmos range,? Mike adds. Campbells are now focused on dealer based special events at their Lostock Hall premises, in Preston, starting with a Lunar Caravans Showcase this weekend (7 and 8 March).
