As fuel prices drop, pensions become more accessible and interest rates fall, more families than ever are drawn to touring, and enjoying the freedom a caravan and motorhome holiday provides. The increases are great news for the UK economy, as both trips within the UK and spending are up by 7% over 2014. This increase is also good news in that it reverses a three year decline in domestic visits and a two year decline in domestic tourism expenditure and will probably set a new record in expenditure.
