JOB VACANCY Teesside Caravans, part of The Hambleton Group is a successful and busy caravan sales, servicing and storage company. Owing to a continued expansion program, we are currently recruiting to fill the following vacancy – EXPERIENCED HANDOVER AND SALES SUPPORT PERSON Full Time or Part Time – Permanent (After a three month trial period) The primary function will be the handing over of vehicles which is very much a customer facing role so the need to understand customer satisfaction is paramount. It is of utmost importance that the customer has a full understanding of the controls and functions of their new caravan and are satisfied with their purchase. You will also be providing a support role to the sales team, workshop and retail sections of the business. Training will be provided where necessary. Duties to include – • Meet and greet customers, dealing with enquiries, telephone and email • Providing comprehensive live demonstrations on the workings of a caravan identifying and explaining all on board systems and controls • Conducting accurate unit appraisals upon receipt of a caravan • Collect and / or deliver caravans to other sites • Movement of units as and when required • Performing any other ad hock tasks, as required, which will help to contribute to the overall performance of the company PERSONAL SPECIFICATION Ideal candidates will be personable, approachable, self motivated with a flexible attitude to work. Knowledge of caravans is essential and the ability to maintain up to date product knowledge regards options, standard equipment and specifications is essential. The successful applicant is able to work on their own and as part of a team. There will be a requirement to work weekends and some Bank Holidays. A FULL, clean UK driving license with the capability to tow, is required for this position.
