Come and see toys from 1964, listen to great music on an original Dansette player and see a fabulous display of pieces from the period. The Swift Elegance Celebratory Caravan will be in-situ during this period along with one of the best offers of new and used Sprite, Sterling and Swift tourers. In 1964 Ken Smith had a vision to build a compact, affordable, family caravan. With is partner Ken Day they launched the Swift 'Ten' on to the world. 50 years on Ken's concept still remains and the Swift Group are one of the leading manufacturers of caravans in the world. The celebration caravan features stunning graphics applied using innovative digitally printed, pre-coated aluminium from leading international fabrication supplier, Euramax. After being launched at the Camping and Caravan Show at the NEC in February, this will be the first opportunity for visitors to view the model in the North East. Covering all areas of toy collecting, the presentation will include Fisher Price favourites, Matchbox, Corgi and Dinky cars, Barbie, Sindy, GI Joe, board games and popular annuals of the period such as Bewitched and The Beverley Hillbillies.
