It is perfect for a family with younger children and plenty of room to grow as it did for us as the rear dinette is versatile as either a double, or up to 3x single beds inc bunk. It is also ideal for a couple who want lots of living space.

The 5 berth Abbey Safari 530 has a large lounge, centrally positioned kitchen, centrally positioned washroom and a separate rear lounge which sleeps 3.  The caravan is in good external and internal condition and has been regularly serviced and damp-checked and always kept on a drive under a cover.  It has only had two owners and we have been having fun in her since 2010 and we’re only selling as we aren’t using it enough.

At the front, the lounge area is spacious, with two comfortable bench seats which can be used as single beds or converted into a large double utilising a pull-out slat system mounted under a chest of drawers.  The seats can be lifted to access the large storage space underneath. The chest of drawers also has a handy fold-out coffee table and for mealtimes, there is a folding dining table stored in its own locker. At the front of the caravan, 3 polyplastic double glazed windows feature cassette fly nets and blinds.  There is a heki 2 rooflight, ensuring that the front lounge is light and airy. All the furniture is finished in attractive 'Ferrara' light oak woodgrain, and the soft furnishings and upholstery are contemporary and neutral in colour and design. 

Between the lounge and the kitchen, is a freestanding multimedia centre which has 12v, 230v and aerial sockets.  There is also a useful wardrobe with a hanging rail for holiday clothing.

Moving back through the caravan, the kitchen is positioned in the mid-section. The kitchen unit has a dual-fuel hob (3 gas burners and an electric hotplate), and there is a domestic-style glass fronted grill and oven, and a high capacity 3-way fridge with ice box.  There is a built-in microwave and ample food/utensil storage space and worktops for food preparation. 

Opposite the kitchen is the centrally positioned washroom which is surprisingly spacious and is furnished with a swivelling Thetford c-250 toilet, separate spacious shower cubicle with easy-clean walls, as well as a sink, mirror and ample storage.

Moving back through the caravan is a rear dinette/ bedroom which can be completely separated from the rest of the caravan by a partition.  The rear dinette can be used as additional living space for relaxing and dining.  It can also be converted into a smaller double bed using pull out slats.  Smaller children could also sleep on the seats as single beds and there is an additional pull out bunk, for a small child.  The upholstery is the same as in the lounge, and the seats lift up for extra storage. There are 12 volt and 240 volt reading lights and ceiling lights and a Heiki rooflight.

All windows are fitted with independent blinds and fly-screens and the two-part door also has a flyscreen.

This high spec model features the dependable Truma dual fuel blown air heating.   This combined with grade 2 thermal insulation enables this caravan to be comfortably used all year round!

Externally, the Abbey is built on an Al-ko galvanised chassis featuring an Al-ko 3004 stabilising hitch, easy action 2 way assisted handbrake and heavy duty corner steadies. The body incorporates one piece high level thick gauge aluminium sidewalls, moulded gloss white front and rear panels all set off by striking graphics and silver alloy wheels. There is an awning/exterior light (plus an extra awning light), a 240v electric socket in the front locker and an exterior gas barbeque point.
